Exclude tabs in SkinObject?

Sep 9, 2010 at 2:25 PM

Is it possible to exclude certain Tabs using the SkinObject method instead normally adding it onto the page and then using the Exclude Tabs via the settings?

New Version is Online Parameter ExclusionTabs can be used in the Skin Object to define a List of Tabids you want to Exclude

<object id="dnnSITEMAPSL" codetype="dotnetnuke/server" codebase="SITEMAPSL">
<param name="ExclusionTabs" value="10,20,40" />

I can not see this feature in  settings

filtering by tags seems more intuitive

Taxonomy is a long awaited feature.

Taxonomy is the best way of grouping information (see Drupal)

At the moment there is no program to exploit this feature for pages in DNN

Thanks for new version,

This Topic was about the Skin Object. The Include Feature i added to the SkinObject. In the Module Settings its not need to have an Extra Include only Option. Because there is already The Exclude Settings, where you can Exclude all the Tabs you dont want, and keep the tabs you want.

P.S: I am adding the Tax Filter (Option to select the terms of an vocabulary) you requested right now.
